Relatively new Japanese development studio Skip has announced that it is underway with a top-secret GameCube RPG. The company expects to release the title during the holiday season of 2002.

Very little is known about the project, but according to the Skip, it is being led by Kenichi Nishi, who worked on Super Mario RPG 2 among other games.

The storyline of the project takes place on a southern island and involves a great mystery, with elements of suspense and betrayal. It's vague, but it's all we've got.
