Activision has announced a brand new 3DS titles based on the popular Transformers franchise.

A brand new 3DS title based on the Transformers franchise has been announced by Activision. Transformers: Dark of the Moon will tie into the upcoming film of the same name and serves as a prologue to the film.

The title introduces a brand new 'Stealth Force Conversion Mode' in which players can mix between standard robot/vehicle modes. High Moon are developing the title, which will also be released on the DS, PS3 and Xbox 360, and is due for release later in the year.

The immensely talented group are huge fans of the property, and they are thrilled to unveil some new characters from the movie while introducing Stealth Force gameplay that lets players convert to a third form beyond robot and vehicle modes to defeat their enemies in more ways than ever before."
