In case you hadn't heard, Trauma Center on the Wii isn't quite the sequel some were expecting.

Recently Famitsu revealed some details about Atlus' next generation edition of the much-loved slice-em-up. Titled Trauma Center: Second Opinion (or Caduceus Neo in Japan), the game will actually be a remake of the DS original, adding a new scenario, characters (and character designs), new kinds of surgery for you to perform, and even introducing voice acting.

While some Trauma Center fans will be disappointed with the lack of a proper sequel, the rest of us can look forward to some excellent, if familiar, Wiimote surgery later this year.
