News: True Crime GameCube Delay

Couldn't find True Crime for the GameCube in the stores this weekend?

We got a lot of e-mails from people asking what the deal is with True Crime for the GameCube. In Australia, in Europe...the game was nowhere to be found.

Today we contacted the distributor of the Activision titles and they told us the game has been delayed until the 21st of November for the GameCube. They weren't allowed to tell the reason but we think it is because of a production delay at Nintendo.

Did you know that it takes 2 weeks for game developers to order their Xbox and PS2 copies of a product at Microsoft and Sony? Well, it takes 6 weeks for Nintendo to deliver the ordered games. This is usually the reason for GameCube versions being released a few weeks later compared to the Xbox and PS2 versions.

So now you all know. Two more weeks and we GameCube owners will be able to race and shoot our way through Los Angeles in Activision's True Crime.
