Fans of Japanese anime get ready to import! A DS-based role-playing adaptation of Clamp is on the way...

If you're into anime or manga, you've probably heard of Clamp. Well now Japanese development studio Cavia is set to bring an adaptation of the anime to the DS in the form of a turn-based card battling RPG.

Playing as the characters Sakura and Shaoran, your mission is to search for fragments of "Tsubasa" memories, spread over various dimensions. The DS' two screens are fully used with the upper display showing conversation while the touch screen is used to select new locations, and in battle select which cards from your hand you wish to play.

The game is set to include wireless play, although for how many players is not yet known. Expect the game to hit the shops in Japan by the end of the year, with unsuprisingly no Western release (pardon the pun) 'on the cards' as yet...
