Italy's Twelve Interactive join the ranks of official Wii developers...

Italian game developer Twelve Interactive has announced that it has become a Nintendo Wii official developer. "The Nintendo Wii is a perfect console to work on for small independent developers like us. It give us the opportunity to work on triple A games, with very reduced budget", commented Giuseppe Crugliano, Managing Director and founder of Twelve Interactive. "Crash Dummy Vs The Evil D-Troit Wii version (published by Oxygen), will take full advantage of the innovative Wiimote and Nunchuck controllers, transforming the game experience in a fresh brand new experience."

The company was founded in 2003 by Giuseppe Crugliano, and has partnered with various companies, like EA Italia, Vodafone, H3G, Virtools, Vicious Cycle, Nexgen Studio, Schanz International Consultants. It is now one of the top three game development companies in Italy, thanks to Crash Dummy Vs The Evil D-Troit, the first Italian production to be published world-wide on five different platforms. The title will hit the shelves for various formats like Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Sony PSP, Sony Playstation2 and PC. The game will be distributed by Oxygen Interactive (Wii, PSP, DS versoions), Lexicon Entertainment (PS2, PC) and Playten Interactive (PC in Russia Territories).

Twelve Interactive is currently working on another game, Starblaze � Ultimate Battle, a futuristic game with a deep story, several worlds, and plenty of aliens, cyborgs and giant robots for Wii, PSP, DS, PC (Windows Vista), Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
