News: Two Shin Megami Tensei Games for Europe

One for 3DS and one for DS...

Excellent news for European JRPG fans today, as UK-based publisher Ghostlight has announced that it will release not one, but two Shin Megami Tensei games throughout PAL territories.

The first is Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, which is a 3DS remake of the original Devil Survivor. The tactical role-playing game is set in a Tokyo that is plagued by a sudden demon outbreak, whilst you and your friends fight a battle not only to get to the bottom of the invasion, but also for basic survival.

The second is, appropriately enough, DS sequel Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2. Again a tactical RPG, this game built upon its predecessor in all areas, earning critical praise in North America for it.

No release window for either game has been set yet. Ghostlight has a tradition of releasing games from Atlus's Shin Megami Tensei series, so long may their fine work continue.
