French software publishing firm, Ubisoft have come up with some pretty startling sales figures!

The French-based company, which also have offices in Montreal, have recently released sales figures that have shown a startling 28.8% rise in profits over the same period last year.

All in all, this has been a good year for Ubisoft -in a fnancial year when many other software houses have folded or posted appalling losses, the beginning of the year saw an eye-popping increase of 107% from the same sales period last year.

All things considered, if profitability continues to soar for the company, they will continue to attract high-profile licences. One day, we hope they may even make wrestle EA's grip from FIFA and make a decent FIFA licensed footie game. But then, some might say that's nothing more than the stuff of fantasy
