Could it be a MMO?
Ubisoft's Quebec studio has posted job positions for a "AAA" Wii U project, as spotted by an eagle-eyed user of NeoGAF. The listings have gone up on the developer's Facebook page, and raise the question of just what the title could be.
The two listings that mention the Wii U project specifically call for a senior engine programmer and network programmer, but these vacancies were put up on the same day as a separate listing for a tools programmer for a 'AAA MMO'. Could they be related? Is the Wii U game pertained to an unannounced project?
We know of three confirmed Wii U games from Ubisoft. Killer Freaks From Outer Space is coming from the folks at the Montpelier studio. The next Assassin's Creed game is a possibility, as we don't know which studio is handling it, but we do know that Quebec had a hand in the last game, Revelations.
On the other hand, both Wii U and MMO listings could be referring to the console version of free-to-play tactical shooter Ghost Recon Online. Ubisoft Singapore was the original developer, but nothing yet rules out the possibility that Quebec is handling the Wii U version.
Or, of course, it could be an all-new project we don't know about - MMO or not. It's a long wait until Nintendo blows the lid off Wii U at next year' E3, so fingers crossed some tasty leaks come by along the way.
