News: Ubisoft Sales Figures.

Ubisoft have announced third quarter sales figures for 2003. Click on for the exciting news!

This is an exciting day for Ubisoft as they saw profits for the third quarter 2003 soar to �227 million -that's about �160 million in real money, these profits are up 29% over the same period 2002!

But wait! That's not all! Ubisoft have also announced that their market share increased by 42% in the year 2003, making them the second biggest indepeandant publisher in France, the third largest in Germany and the sixth largest in the UK!

In other Ubisoft related news, the company has had something of a mixed bag in terms of software recently. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow is to be met with a delay on the PS2 and Gamecube. Furthermore, Beyond Good and Evil and XIII have not been the large earners that they were expected to be, netting something in the region of �10 million in profit, despite receiving glowing reviews.

However, in more Ubisoft greatness-related news, Prince of Persia: The Sands of time has netted a total of 2 million sales since it's release, putting it up there in the top 10 European sales to date!
