Despite the upcoming Prince of Persia 3 being the last in the Sands of Time trilogy, it won't be the last we see of the Prince...

A company representative has said that as the upcoming title in the series Prince of Persia 3 is expected to sell well and build on the already-impressive figures for the first two in the trilogy, Ubisoft will be bringing the Prince and his wall-jumping escapades to next-gen consoles.

The previous two titles in the re-awakened series, The Sands of Time and Warrior Within have both appeared on multiple formats, and what with Ubisoft saying they will support all major next-generation platforms, it seems we can pencil in a Prince of Persia for the Revolution.

Prince of Persia 3 (for a while titled "Kindred Blades") meanwhile will be out in time for Christmas, with a possible advertising campaign involving Dominos and Pizza Hut. We'll keep you posted!
