Ubisoft, in co-operation with Universal Studios Consumer Products Group, are planning to release a game based on the upcoming re-make of the classic King Kong movie.

Ubisoft have announced that Wingnut Films, the team behind Beyond Good and Evil, will be working closely with Peter Jackson on the newly announced King Kong game. The game will be available worldwide on all platforms in conjunction with the 14th December, 2005 theatrical release of the movie.

Serge Hascoet, Executive Director, Worldwide Content Strategy for Ubisoft stated: "Through this creative association, Ubisoft shows its growing dedication to bringing intense emotions inspired by the movie industry to interactive games. In the King Kong game, players will be able to experience all the power, drama and emotion of the film thanks to the interactive possibilities provided by the game."
