Nintendo's Wii-exclusive Mario Strikers Charged saw a top-three entry into the UK's All Format chart this week, and unsurprisingly topped the Wii only software chart as well. The title lost out to the top spot behind the new release of Disney Interactives' multi-format Pirates of the Caribbean 3 game, while Activision's multi-format Spider-man 3 remained on the top spot, showing that movie-licensed games really do have selling power.

Square Enix's Final Fantasy III re-make for the DS dropped from five to number ten, while New Super Mario Bros. sank six places from number nine to number fifteen. Sega's Wii-exclusive Sonic and the Secret Rings rose two places up to number fourteen, while Pokémon Ranger rose four places from twenty to sixteen.
