A certain supermarket tries something new today and slashes the Wii retail price - Jamie Oliver would be proud...

Supermarket chain Sainsbury's will reportedly be cutting the retail price of the Wii console from tomorrow. This price cut will see the Wii's price reduced from �179.97 to �149.97 giving the customer a �30 saving. Other consoles will see a price drop too including the Xbox 360 Arcade from �129.97 to �99.97.

This promotional deal is set to last from between between October 3rd and October 12th.
