News: Upcoming Nintendo Speech Roundup

Nintendo have arranged plenty of oppurtunities to reveal DS Lite and Revolution info in the months before E3. We take a look...
The event where Revolution details are most likely to emerge before E3 is the Game Developer's Conference, held annually in San Jose, California. MCV have confirmed that Nintendo president Satoru Iwata will be speaking there, and claim that "senior sources" have suggested Iwata will reveal some key info on the Revolution - possibly pricing and release details. The event runs from March 20-24th.
Additionally, Nintendo's Katsuya Eguchi will also be speaking there on "Is that a Franchise in Your Pocket? An Animal Crossing: Wild World Case Study", which will be about the differences of developing for handhelds and home consoles, while Takao Ohara will be discussing "The Zen of Wi-Fi: A Postmortem of the Wireless Features of Nintendo DS" - a speech on the tech challenges faced by the Wi-Fi Connection team.
Other dates to pencil in your diary include February 15th, when Nintendo will be holding a press conference in Tokyo to fully discuss the Nintendo DS Lite - so far only quietly unveiled on Nintendo's website. We also expect to hear plenty more about upcoming (and possibly unrevealed to date) DS software then too.
Finally, Reggie Fils-Aime, NoA's executive VP of marketing and all round Nintendo cult figure will be speaking in just five days at the Las Vegas DICE (Design, Innovate, Create and Entertain) Conference. Entitled "Expanding the Market for Interactive Entertainment," his speech may also hold so far unreleased info.
So stick with Revo-Europe for your daily Nintendo news, as we build up to the start of E3 on May 9th, and the legendary annual Nintendo conference!
