News: US & Japan Hardware Figures Roundup

A round-up of the latest hardware figures from America and Japan. With the PS3 cut in price, how will the Wii fare?

With Sony's aggressive new price cut now in full swing worldwide, the PS3 has seen in a surge of sales - which in Japan at least, has seen take it take second place behind the DS, but ahead of the Wii in the latest weekly chart.

In America however, the last four weeks - encompassing the recent price cut, have shown the Wii still dominating the charts, with the PS3 languishing at the bottom. Whether this will change in the next monthly chart once the price cut has had its full effect is yet to be seen. Here's the figures in full:
