Rumours of a Nintendo christmas discount have been flowing the internet a few months now. The rumous have become reality. Nintendo will be kicking off a special week-long GameCube rebate offer.

The details of the rebate are as follows:

- Buy any Nintendo GameCube system and recieve $25 dollars off by mail.

- Buy a Wavebird controller and receive another $5 mail-in rebate.

- For every new game purchased, the consumer earns $5 in rebates.

The maximum rebate is $50, so the Wavebird and game rebates are essentially the same deal, just set up as an "either/or" option.
