A Nintendo-themed comedy party, this Friday, Santa Monica...

Overtime Comedy and Siliconera have teamed up to throw a Wii-themed party in Santa Monica on the 22nd June.

For $5, people can get access to both a party, in which you get to play Wii, a comedy show and free food. Starting at 9PM with a 30-minute comedy show that includes clips from Nintendo cartoons, then continuing with Wii on a large cinema screen, where people can play Wii Sports, Super Monkey Ball, Street Fighter II, Mario Kart 64, and rare Japanese Wii games courtesy of Siliconera, including Bleach Wii: Hakujin Kirameku Rondo, Naruto Shippuden: Geiktou Ninja Taisen EX.

The event will be held at The Westside Eclectic, located at 1323-A 3rd St. Promenade, in the alley between 3rd and 4th St one block north of Santa Monica Blvd.

It would be great if similar events could be held in Europe.
