News: Video Game BAFTA Winners

The annual British Academy Video Games Awards have taken place. Head inside to find out the full run-down of winners...
While it was in no way a massive showing for Nintendo at last night's Video Game BAFTA awards, we nonetheless had a crack at our own predictions for the winners. And... well... seven out of fifteen ain't bad, right?
Here are the full list of winners for the evening:
- Action: Uncharted 2
- Artistic Achievement: Flower
- Best Game: Batman: Arkham Asylum
- Family & Social: Wii Sports Resort
- Gameplay: Batman: Arkham Asylum
- HandHeld: LittleBigPlanet
- Multiplayer: Left 4 Dead 2
- Original Score: Uncharted 2
- Sports: FIFA '10
- Story: Uncharted 2
- Strategy: Empire: Total War
- Use of Audio: Uncharted 2
- Use of Online: Fifa 10
- Ones to Watch Award: Shrunk!
- Game Award: Modern Warfare 2
While it may not have been Nintendo's night, the company arguably had the last word as all-round demigod Shigeru Miyamoto was on-hand to pick up the coveted Fellowship Award. Miyamoto charmed the audience with his typically energetic demeanour, dedicating the accolade to his colleagues at Nintendo and developers all over the world.
