Clover studio have updated their Web-Log with some interesting info on V-J for the Nintendo DS. I've used a translation service to read the info and what i can pick out is as follows.

This stage is NOT a "Movie Land".

The games foundations are an Action Game.

Although the 2 screens will be displaying completely different things, there will be an enormous connection between what is displayed(?).

Touch Screen use is very simplified but has a big impact in the world of Viewtiful Joe.

They state there is primitive pleasure from touching the screen to control things, rather than using a controller, and begins to help move games towards being real than virtual, due to using more senses (Touch and Sight rather than just Sight). There are many more details they state they are keeping secret for the time being.

The weblog also contains a blurry image of VJ running on a DS.
