Wallace & Gromit Curse ofthe Were-Rabbit

News: Wallace & Gromit Grace GameCube

Wallace & Gromit are hitting the big screen again this year, and with most films these days, a video-game adaptation is being made.

Frontier have been developing Curse of the Were-Rabbit to tie-in with the upcoming film for over a year now. This game was previously unknown, but Frontier has decided its time that Wallace & Gromit fans know about it.

A new Wallace & Gromit film will be hitting the big screen later this year, and Frontier have developed a game to co-inside with the film. The Curse of the Were-Rabbit will see players uncovering the secret of the Were-Rabbits on their day and night journey through the vast locations. Players will need to battle a shadowy adversary in what is described as a "brainstorming" adventure. Fans of the series will be glad to know that a host of "cracking contraptions" will be available to use, all invented by Wallace.

The game is being developed by both Aardman and Frontier to ensure it matches the film perfectly. The game will feature a fully rendered copy of Wallace & Gromit's West Wallaby home town. Other locations featured in the film will also be included within the game. The game allows either one or two player co-operative mode play, with a selection of the film's leading characters - including both Wallace and Gromit.

"Frontier have done an amazing job of bringing Wallace & Gromit and the world of 'Curse of the Were-Rabbit' film to consoles. Interacting with Wallace and Gromit in a videogame brings an extra dimension to people's experience of our characters and the world they inhabit." said Nick Park, triple Oscar-winning creator of Wallace and Gromit. "The game is technically and visually impressive - it is enormous fun in its own right and perfectly evokes the charm and humour of our dynamic duo."

Frontier Chairman and games industry legend David Braben enthused, 'Working directly and very closely with Aardman has allowed us an unprecedented level of freedom and creativity. Frontier's leading edge proprietary technology and gameplay expertise combined with Aardman's undisputed character and story creation talents are a winning combination. We've once again thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with Aardman.'
