Sega and Activision are to release a DS title for the Wappy Dog electronic dog.

Sega's Wappy Dog, an electronic dog, was recently shown at Toy Fair 2011 and Activision has announced that they will release a DS title of the same name. The toy and the game synchronise with each other to provide a complete simulated dog ownership experience.

The Wappy Dog game will feature two different modes: Home Mode and Outing Mode. While Home Mode allows you to play with the dog toy using the DS Outing Mode allows you to play through the DS only. The dog's appearance and environment can be customised and owners can teach it tricks and watch it sing and dance when it is released later this year.
