The new Wave Bird controller will be released in the US June 24, 2002. It will be priced at a modest $39.95. We can expect to see it in Europe after the GameCube is released, maybe even by the end of May.

Using its radio waves it can be used as far as 15 feet away from your console and will save you the mess of untangling wires. Four Wave Birds can also be used without interference.
