News: WayForward Announce LIT For WiiWare

Are you afraid of the dark?
In recent weeks we've seen several major developers make the move to WiiWare, joining the likes of smaller development studios such as Bplus, Nnooo and Medaverse. WayForward is the latest developer to pledge support to Nintendo's downloadable content service with an original IP. Best known for the tough as diamond-encrusted nails shooter, Contra 4 on the DS as well as the cult hit platformer Shantae on the Game Boy Color, WayForward are now straying into new territory.
LIT is an action puzzler which forces you into the shoes of Jake, a high school under-achiever who finds himself trapped in his school which has, rather unconveniently, been overrun with creatures. Jake must use light sources to create safe paths across the school with the ultimate goal of escape. Jake will rendezvous with his girlfriend, Rachael, who will sometimes contact him via the school phones.
The game will feature horror-combat and boss battles to create a "uniquely unsettling Nintendo Wii experience." Whoever said the Wii was for kids?
LIT has no confirmed release date or price, but please Nintendo, just tell us when Europe will see the launch of WiiWare!
