First it was the DS, now Nintendo has stated you will be able to surf the net via the Revolution!

After yesterday's new from the DS Lite conference that gamers will be able to buy a version of the Opera web-browser for their DS, Nintendo of America was contacted to ascertain whether Revolution would have something similar. Their response?

"Revolution owners will have the option to purchase that functionality."

How the "purchase" would work, it wasn't made clear. Possibly the web-browser software could be bought (either on a disc or via download) which is then permanently loaded onto the Revolution's flash memory? However it works, it's good news all the same. Surfing the net with Revolution point-and-click style controls? Yes please!
