Nintendo's brand new DS update is just days away, and promises to herald a whole new era of portable gaming. Just as the Wii enables gamers to purchase and download their own new games, so will the DSi, which also provides for applications (such as Internet browsing) and (sometime in the future at least) classic Game Boy titles too.

Nintendo have now confirmed, that:

"Like the Wii Shop Channel, the Nintendo DSi Shop will offer a growing library of downloadable games, with new titles added every week."
