News: Western Chaos Fields

Chaos Fields might be getting a western release after all.

The vertical GameCube shooter Chaos Fields, developed by Milestone and by SEGA in Japan, is now headed for a release in America. The title will be published during the third quarter of this year according to our source.

Chaos Field was originally created for SEGA's Dreamcast console. The Ikaruga-style shooter took players through five stages of action-packed blasting, each of them made more difficult by three separate bosses.

The Japanese version of the GameCube port was more or less a straigh port from the Deamcast Version. No word yet on whether or not the US build will include added features. Neither has a European version been announced as of yet.

Chaos Field will be fully playable at the E3 2005. Stay tuned to Cube-Europe for more info on this title!
