The TARDIS lands on the DS this Christmas.

Whilst it is surprising that no developers had yet decided to make a videogame of the hugely popular BBC sci-fi show Doctor Who, we now have confirmation that a spin-off game is now in development.

Confirmation was found in the new Doctor Who Top Trumps pack of all places, which makes it highly likely that the game will feature the classic children's card game instead of an adventure game based on the TV series (which I know that I'd kill for). We can always hope that a game will eventually come along when we can use our Wii Remotes and styli as the Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver...
