Sega believes the time is right to Feel the Magic once again...
Oh my. Fans of Sega's crazy DS minigame-adventure-thing-quest known as Project Rub (or Feel the Magic to some) have a special lesson to look forward to. Cube-Europe has learned that Sega has verified a sequel to be in the works for the DS. Will this game be retaining all of the first's wild and wacky (not to mention occasionally risque) exploits? Well, seeing as how the tentative Japanese subtitle Akachan wa doko kara kuru no? translates to roughly Where Do Babies Come From?, signs are pointing to a resounding YES.
Some readers will recall that a while back C-E reported that the director of the first game, Takumi Yoshinaga, was working on a new project. Its great to hear that his new project is indeed an outrageous-sounding sequel to the DS launch title that besides serving up a surreal and sexy premise, also provided a legitimately unique game experience, highlighting all of the DS' unique features.
Unfortunately, there is nothing concrete to show on the title yet. Sega have already registered the game's likely web address, which can be found here. Although the page is currently blank, you can be sure that C-E will report more details as they are concieved.
Updated: Sega have today updated the official site for the game, http://akadoko.sega.jp, and launched a colourful looking design which shows off the unique artwork of the "Feel the Magic" games. Download wallpaper, see photos of the game in production and listen to some cool music!
