Presumably not content with transforming the USA into a pack of Wiimote waving zombies, Nintendo proves that border-invasions are still pretty effective.
As of July, the white box of wonders has accumulated a total of 1,060,000 sales in the country, leaving competitors out in the cold - despite it being the last "next-generation" console to launch in that region. At the end of the month, Xbox 360 sales stood at just over 870,000 units sold, while Playstation 3 only managed 520,000
The good news for The House of Mario doesn't end with hardware success, with 8 games out of the top 10 software chart being on Nintendo systems (with Mario Kart Wii leading the race).
