News: Wii Price Drops to Under 100

The in-store price of a Wii console has dropped to less than 100 for the first time.
After announcing a drop in the trade price earlier this month, it was advertised that Wii bundles would be available for around 129.99 in shops.
However, the likes of Amazon, GAME, Gamestation and ASDA have undercut this figure and are selling the new Mario Kart Wii Bundle and the existing Wii Sports Resort Bundle for just 99.99.
HMV is selling the console for 114.99, while Play.com and ShopTo are selling the machine for 119.99.
Speaking to MCV, Neil Ashurst, GAME Group's Head of UK Communications, said:
"The opportunity to buy the Nintendo Wii for under 100 is a fantastic chance for those who previously haven't experienced the Wii. We are delighted to offer this deal to our customers."
Also on sale today is the Nintendo Selects range, offering classic Wii games for a budget price.
