Nintendo of Europe confirms the updated controller will release in its standalone form early next month...

In a PR email, Nintendo of Europe confirmed that the Wii Remote Plus - the official MotionPlus-powered version of the standard controller - will release as a standalone accessory in the region on November 5th.

The Wii Remote Plus is exactly the same size as the original controller, with only a tiny bit of text at the base of the remote setting apart from the standard model. The updated controller will release in four colours: black, white, blue and pink.

The Wii Remote Plus will actually be making its debut in Europe when it releases as part of the Special Edition Mario Wii Bundle on October 29th. It will also be packed in with the Artoon-developed FlingSmash on November 19th.
