Nintendo's bundled Wii Sports has officially become the best selling game of all time!

With a whopping 45.7 million copies sold worldwide, Wii Sports is now the best selling video games title of all time, shunting Super Mario Bros. into second place, an epic achievement considering it too was bundled with its own system (the NES, and sold 40.23m units).

Wikipedia has a full list of the best-selling titles ever, which, if you include games bundled in with systems, has Nintendo occupying all of the top thirteen places, aided by incredible sales of Pokémon, Nintendogs and Mario.

So despite the obvious fact that yes, outside of Japan, the Wii is bundled with Wii Sports, this is still an incredible success story - especially for a company who was struggling just one hardware generation ago.
