Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has confirmed a time frame for Nintendo's next major first-party Wii game. Wii Sports: Resort will launch in Japan this June, with all other territories receiving the game in July.

Iwata also reiterated that the game is set to bundle alongside Wii MotionPlus - the add-on device which transforms the Wii Remote into a true 1:1 capable controller. No specific dates or pricing info were revealed, or additional sports on offer on top of the already-known Jet Skiing, Dog Frisbee and Swordplay.

With Nintendo set to take to the E3 stage on June 2nd, expect to hear much more about Resort then.
