Fancy some online compatibility with your Wii Sports? Your wish is granted!

The upcoming MotionPlus enabled Wii Sports Resort will not only be featuring expanded and improved controls, but online features as well. Eagled-eyed gamers have spotted that the Wii's Nintendo Channel lists the title as "WiiConnect24 Compatible".

No online features have so far been revealed for the game, which launches in just over a month. Do Nintendo have something in store as yet unheard-of? Some sort of online leaderboards system would be our best guess, though it is possible some larger online functionality remains still hidden...
