Could circle pads be out for the Wii U controller?

A seemingly revised Wii U controller has popped up on the interweb, showing off what are clearly analog sticks in place of the 3DS-like circle pads that were present on the controller last year.

The photo comes via the Twitter account of an employee of TT Games - the studio prepping Lego City Stories for the system's launch window.

We'll have to wait for E3 to see whether this design is final, so stay tuned.
