The upcoming service gets a launch date for those over the pond...

The much anticipated service for the Wii finally has its launch plans revealed. Those over in the US can start deleting Virtual Console games to make way for WiiWare titles instead on May 12th this year.

As for launch games on the service, the newly announced LostWinds by Frontier, said to be a "fresh, enchanting platform adventure " by Nintendo themselves, making you control the wind spirit Enril to help a young boy break a curse and save the world will be available straight away for download along with the newly renamed Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King from Square-Enix.
