Sleek, affordable, and sans tacky leads. But not from Nintendo.

This was featured on IGN's Gear channel a couple of days ago, but we thought it would be of interest to anyone unaware of the development, and who is frustrated with that irritating wires. The Nyko Wireless Sensor Bar, according to the report, extends the sensor range of the Wiimote, and appears nice and sleek, befitting those lovely televisions many of you probably have.

Although not the first wireless sensor bar to emerge - the other, a homebrew effort, is currently available at wirelesssnesorbar.com - it is the first release from a major accessory manufacturer.
