We've heard the big UK retail chain will be selling Wii, but not stocking it in store!

In suprising news from N-E reader Sunshinelad, we've been notified of the fact that in many Woolworths stores at least, the Wii won't actually be on the shelves. The branches will still sell the new console, but only from warehouse orders, with the reason given that shelfspace for the Xbox 360 and the PS2 was more important this Christmas.

It's unlikely that this is the policy nation-wide for Woolworths stores, though its likely smaller local shops are planning to be run on this similar scheme. We're trying to find out more - stay tuned for the latest when we get it.
