2D Boy has stated that there is a possibility that a sequel to the WiiWare title World of Goo could be released.

In the two years since World of Goo was released it has become one of the most popular titles on WiiWare. After the recent announcement that it will be released on the iPad 2D Boy has commented on the possibility of releasing a sequel.

"A second World of Goo is a possibility, and something we would enjoy working on. A second World of Goo will need to feel like a perfect and appropriate continuation of the first game. No Red Bull Can levels or rapping Goo cutscenes, according to our official design doc."
