On Wednesday 9 March at 11am at the Virgin Megastore on Oxford Street, London, The Bear, star of Channel 4's Bo'Selecta! will be live and in the fur to help launch the Nintendo DS. Renowned for his lack of adult maturity and tact, Nintendo are promising lots of fun and games.

To celebrate the new arrival in the UK, Virgin Megastores in London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Birmingham and Cardiff will be opening their doors at midnight on Thursday 10 March to let Nintendo fans get their hands on the DS first. There will also be a free DS game and exclusive DS t-shirt will also be given to the first group of people in each queue.

If that wasn't enough, everyone in the London queue will be able to enter a competition to win a trip to Japan for them and a friend to meet Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Mario and the Godfather of Gaming.
