The popular Flash developer is working on an original WiiWare game!

If you've ever found yourself slipping into the realms of boredom at school or work and started playing some Flash games to keep yourself sane, then there's a chance you'll have played one of XGen Studios' games. Responsible for simple yet devilishly fun games such as Defend Your Castle and Motherload, XGen are now proud to announce that they are developing an original game for Nintendo's upcoming downloadable service, WiiWare.

The development studio is said to be working on an original game partly inspired by one of their existing 'cult classics'. Whilst the game is still a mystery, XGen state that the game will see a release in early 2008. Maybe we'll get the chance to fling pesky attackers away from our prized medieval castles, shattering every bone in their rebellious, stick-thin bodies with the exact precision of the Wiimote's pointer?
