Worried that Nintendo will only stick to LAN gaming for DS, and keen for a bit of online gaming? Worry no more.

Team Xlink have announced their intention to provide a 3rd party online service for LAN -compatible DS games, similar to Warp Pipe for the GameCube.

With Nintendo keeping very quiet about the DS's online capabilities, it's reassuring to know that, should they choose not to include online gaming as an option, there's always another way round it.
