Nintendo reveal an extra update to the European Virtual Console service this Christmas Day - for Donkey Kong Country 3!

Originally released for the SNES in 1996, Nintendo have made this Rareware classic available today in a special Christmas Day additional update to the Virtual Console service.

The title, the third and final in the Donkey Kong Country trilogy, sees DK and Diddy Kong captured, with Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong to the rescue. The VC will next be updated as usual this Friday.
