Atlus plans to release Legacy of Ys: Books I & II in one neat DS cartridge in the USA! See the teaser trailer too!

Ys: Books I & II for the TurboGrafx-CD, which was released for Virtual Console recently for 800 Wii Points is an enhanced remake of two classic RPGs originally released in 1987 and 1988: Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished and Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished - The Final Chapter .

Now Atlus announced that another remake of the games, now for the DS, called Legacy of Ys: Books I & II is reaching USA with remastered graphics, a remixed soundtrack, optional touch screen controls and local multiplayer up to 4 players.

Nothing was said about an European release, but the North American date for this two-in-one is set for February 10, 2009. We leave you with a teaser trailer, but stay alert for more, RPG fans.
