UK retailer Zavvi has listed the Wii U console and priced the item at �400.

Nintendo has yet to announce a price for the Wii U and are unlikely to for some time but that doesn't stop people from guessing. UK retailer Zavvi is the first outlet to take a guess and are listing the console at �399.95.

The listing also gives a release date of 20th July 2012 but of course this is all just speculation and guess work. Earlier today Satoru Iwata commented on the price, although he just said it is likely to cost more than the Wii did at launch.

During his interview with Game Trailers yesterday Reggie Fils-Aime was keen to stress that the Wii U would offer good 'value' for money in contrast to being a cheap retail price. What price would you be willing to pay for the Nintendo Wii U based on what you already know? Let us know below.
