The next entry in the series will be here far sooner than you may think. It's a big year for 2010.

With The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks still fresh in our minds, we get confirmation from Satoru Iwata in an inteview with Japan's Asahi Shimbun, that the next entry in the Zelda series due to be officially revealed at this years E3 will get a release later in the year, along with other highly anticipated titles such as Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M.

Nothing else was said about the title in the interview aside from the confirmation of a release this year, but 2010 is already shaping up to be a big year in terms of gaming already. But will this title end up suffering delays that has struck many Zelda titles already? Leave us your comments below!
