Advocates of a 3DS remake of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask find a new ally...
After Nintendo's very well-received 3DS re-imagining of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, a hefty number of Zelda fans started a campaign to secure a similar remake of the 2000 classic Majora's Mask. The 'Operation Moonfall' movement has received a new notable advocate after Zelda Williams expressed her support for the cause.
The actress tweeted:
So wanted to tweet one out to the @opmoonfall folks. Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda game, I'd love a 3D version! #FightOnGuys
While known among many fans for being named after the series' eponymous key character, the daughter of Robin Williams recently became much more involved in promoting Zelda. As part of the franchise's 25th Anniversary, Nintendo drafted in both Robin and Zelda Williams to advertise the 3D remake of Ocarina of Time.
Zelda head-honcho Eiji Aonuma recently teased the prospect of a Majora's Mask 3D, stating that the game would be well suited to a handheld.
