News: Zoonami Are Hiring

The Wii-loving developer Zoonami are looking for a new Senior Artist.
Zoonami is a development studio set up by Martin Hollis, former Rare employee and director and producer of GoldenEye 007 for the Nintendo 64. Since the studio's establishment in 2000, we've seen Zendoku for the DS and two cancelled projects in the form of Funkydilla! and Game Zero for the GameCube. In an interview with CVG five months ago, they made their love of the Wii known, claiming to be dedicated to the console, and they also gave the prediction that it would win the console race within a year (they must be psychic!).
Zoonami currently have an advertisement on their website looking for a Senior Artist/Art Director and a Senior Programmer for the Wii. The positions are required for a project which will have a development time of 6 months and will have a novel 2D visual style.
The short development time and the fact that Zoonami have previously expressed interest in downloadable titles for the Wii suggest that this will be a WiiWare game. The third-party support for Nintendo's new downloadable service is currently astounding, and we can only hope that we'll continue to see excellent support throughout the service's lifespan.
Stay tuned to N-Europe for the latest on Zoonami's mysterious project.
