Nintendo confirms no live conference at E3 2017

E3 2017 may be the first E3 that the Switch is available to play (which is crazy to think about in itself), but Nintendo is continuing with its tradition of not hosting a live conference.

They confirmed this in their Financial Earnings Reports (page 19) and stated they'd announce their actual plans later on.

During the last few years Nintendo has opted for a pre-recorded Nintendo Direct and their Treehouse Direct events from the show floor.

When the Switch was unveiled in January Nintendo opted for a live event for the first time in quite a while and it seems they're not keen to return to that.

We'll keep you updated with their plans as we find them out.
